Royal Rose Aoud Perfume by M. Micallef, Floral fruity notes from rose and tangy black currant open this oriental fragrance for women. The heart is agar wood, bringing its deep woodiness with a floral nuance. The base rests on sweetness from animalic ambergris, smoky guaiac wood, rose oud and vanilla, with a touch of creamy softness from white chocolate. The fragrance offers moderate longevity and sillage.
Royal Rose Aoud was introduced in 2012. The husband-and-wife team of Martine Micallef and Geoffrey Nejman founded M. Micallef in Grasse, France, in 1996. The fragrance house introduced its first perfume in 1997 and became an innovator in the creation of scents that mixed French and Middle Eastern cultures. It currently reaches consumers in more than 50 countries through almost 900 retail outlets. The couple has worked with nose Jean-Claude Astier to formulate the house’s hand-crafted fragrances. Astier has also worked on scents for industry leader Shiseido and other companies in Japan
