Shagya Cologne by Parfums De Marly, Released in 2009 and named for an esteemed breed of riding horse, Shagya’s heady masculine scent draws heavilyfrom the unique aroma of oud, around which the cologne is built, and compounds it with various other rich, woody notes. The fragrance opens with zesty lime, bergamot and pink pepper to invigorate and enliven the senses. Soon afterward, the middle notes of oud, cedar and geranium emerge, offering warm depth traditional to colognes. Guaiac wood,vetiver, papyrus and musk allow a drydown that persists throughout the day, new facets of the scent revealing themselves over time for continued appeal.
